Job description
Treparel is looking for a software developer to help us with the development of our KMX platform, which includes the kernel, the client and the server side functionality.  You will be working with a highly skilled team of young professionals to create a client program that end users will use to explore the data mining capabilities of KMX.

Treparel develops and delivers a new suite of integrated data analysis tools, called KMX.  KMX provides faster, more reliable and intelligent insight in large complex data sets to allow companies to work smarter.
The KMX knowledge discovery platform is delivered to the market as an integrated hardware and software solution.  The platform can be applied to any knowledge domain.

Treparel focuses on automatically extracting all patterns from complex data sets and analysing these large collections of patterns.  Special visualization techniques map the library of collected patterns to coupled visualization windows and provide insight in complex data sets.  Treparel's technology works on a large range of data sets.
Therefore our customers are specialists in a wide range of fields, including electronics, life sciences and financial.

Treparel is a small startup company.  The development is currently done by three professionals, and we are looking to expand this team. We adhere to structured software development and project management methodologies.

We can offer you different scenarios to work with us and help us developing the KMX roadmap. Job requirements:

• Experience with python is a must, experience with C++, Java is a plus;
• Affinity with data mining, text mining techniques;
• Experience with SQL and preferably Oracle and PL/SQL;
• Knowledge and interest in machine learning, visualization and semantic models (topic maps) are much appreciated.
